CSI Student Branch GECBH is Kerala's most active technical society at Government Engineering College Barton Hill, Trivandrum. We are the official student chapter of Computer Society of India.
Our student branch aims for the betterment of every engineering student at GECBH who wishes to gain professional knowledge in Information Technology, Computer Science, and emerging technologies. CSI BETA - Technical Excellence for All Departments
CSI Beta is a specialized technical association launched on August 24th, 2020, designed to assist Non-IT engineering students at GECBH in developing crucial IT skills and technical expertise. This innovative program bridges the gap between traditional engineering disciplines and modern technology.
Beta Anniversary
Being thankful to all the ones who made CSI BETA as one of the best initiatives of CSI GECBH, we had completed our one year of successful journey. In CSI BETA Anniversary celebration, we were with a pocket full of events for all those talented peeps around held on August 24 - 29. We were able to conduct 4 competitions, 1 talk session and a cultural night. Competitions were PARADIGM - a Mobile App UI/UX Designing competition, ESPERIENZA - a quote writing competition, CONSILIO - a creative product designing competition, WIEDZA - a quiz competition, A Special Talk with Nikhil Kilivayil, the prominent Entrepreneur, a motivational speaker, CEO & Founder of Cross Roads and finally a cultural night, Funs Upon A Time by Albin Antony, Standup comedian was a fun filled night.
Our Achievements
We were able to connect and acknowledge our activities to CSI Trivandrum Chapter through National Student Tech Talk Series during the period 2020-21. Later, in February 2021, a National Conference on Deep Learning was conducted by CSI TVM Chapter and our SB was specifically invited for it. The proceedings of the conference were handed over to our then Chairman Mr. Kelvin Patric Melvin by the chief guest Dr. Usha Titus IAS. Most proudly, 5 members from our Execom were elected as the Student Activity Committee members for the year 2021-22. CSI SB GECBH bagged 6 out of 8 awards at CSI SAC Award Ceremony.
